When you install Macintosh System 8, you will be prompted for certain information about your internet access account. Use this guide to configure your internet connection properly.

The Internet Assistant has yet to be proven completely reliable. If you have any difficulty connecting, you may want to check your Open Transport (PPP and TCP/IP Control Panel) settings.

Most people will use the UPDATE button for LAN or Modem configuration.
